Remember when I used to really blog?

and not just apologize for leaving you in the dust about our whereabouts? Remember who I deleted my Facebook so I would have more time to blog {which I love doing}?

Woops… Sorry for leaving you in the dust about our whereabouts! :]

Oh, whereabouts have we been the past two months, you ask?

Seattle, Olympia, Simpsonville, Charlotte, Charleston, Hilton Head Island, Centerville, and good ole Rexburg, Idaho, ladies and gentleman!

…we’ve been a little busy.
Things are starting to {kind of} settle down and I feel like we’re finding our routine of things.
My green tie guy is back in school and I am loving being at home with Eleanora. She sure does keep my busy. That girl is into everything these days!

{can you believe she’s ONE this month?! Don’t even get me started…. my mind literally can not grasp the concept of where the past year as gone.

Life is good though, friends. Life. is. good. For the first time in a long time I feel a sense of ease and normality to our lives. From us both going to school full time, working, and me being pregnant and so sick {last summer}, to Levi being in the toughest semester of his life and having a brand new baby right smack in the middle of that semester {last fall}, to Levi commuting 2 hours to a tax internship during the busiest time of year for accountants and me taking classes online {last winter}, to us both taking full time classes, Levi working and trading off our baby in the library {last summer}, to ease… Levi goes to class, comes home for lunch, goes back and finishes homework and is done by 6:00pm most nights. Aside for church meetings {which are only a few times a week} we usually are able to snuggle up on the couch every night and talk, plan, or just watch our latest TV obsession {whatever it might be at the moment. Right now? White Collar}. Life is good, you guys. Seriously, since we’ve been married we haven’t had “ease” or regularity. I can’t believe how nice it is actually have time to clean my house {rather than scrambling to clean it when someone says they’re stopping by}, or make a real dinner!! ha! who knew I loved to cook?! I sure didn’t!

Not saying life wasn’t good before – I can honestly say the past two years with Levi have been some of the best years of my life… I just didn’t realize how crazy things were until I was out of the storm! I tell Levi all the time how I seriously could not have done it with anyone else – nor would I want to! Too hard! Levi’s amazing and the happiness I feel in our relationship and marriage has very little to do with what I do. Levi’s a champ, you guys. Seriously, I stand in awe at him and how he balances, prioritizes, and still finds time to be the hopeless romantic I fell hopelessly in love with.  I don’t want to be with anyone but him on this journey.

So, now that I’ve shared too much {anyone still there?} I’ll send you off with some pictures from our vacations this summer. Oh, I always kick myself for not taking more pictures! but, enjoy what I did take! (actually, what Alicia took, mostly…)

…rats! I can’t find my camera. So I’ll post {for now} what Alicia’s posted (some of them) and a few that I happen to have.. in the mean time stay tuned for more posts!

We spent a few days (not enough!) in Charlotte visiting Adam & Brittani! Friends like them are way too far and few between…
Goodbyes that are as hard as that one was are usually reserved for family, just sayin’

Yes, welcome back! I'm trying to find my way back to blogging, too. :) I love your beach pictures. Sooo cute! Can't wait to see more! And yes, so glad life has slowed down a little for you guys. Tory and I always look back at those intense school years and think we are sooo glad we didn't know what we were getting into when we were in the thick of it and looking back I don't think we could ever do it again. But we made it...and that's what counts, right? Love you guys!
