in case you wanted to know EVERYTHING about me.

Approximately one million-dillion years ago my sister, Angie, tagged me in a post. I forgot I was tagged until my sister, Alicia, did hers.

Woops!

Here it is:

There are five rules:
1. Post these rules.
2. Post a photo of yourself and 11 random things.
3. Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/twitter and tell them you've tagged them.

1. I applied for graduation today. I’m going to graduate college. I’ve been in school since I was 5 years old – and now what?……..senioritis has sure set in, that much I know.
2. I love the sound of people talking when they have bubbles in their throat. (Do you know what I’m talking about?) I literally think it’s HIL-AR-IOUS. Like, next time that happens around me PUH-LEASE resist the urge to clear your throat because it’s one of my favorite things. Usually when it happens I remember it while I’m laying in bed before I go to sleep and it always makes me laugh to myself. I don’t know why it’s so funny; but I love it.
3. I did my first full work out today since I got pregnant. I always planned on exercising through my pregnancies but… then I was sick and throwing up for 9 months and I considered exercising getting off the couch to throw up in the toilet instead of a bag (too much information? sorry.. I forget that throw up is gross to people). But I popped in Jillian Michaels today and did the entire workout. I’ve been doing sit ups or walking/jogging but I haven’t done a full on work out until just yet because every time I started to before it would mess with my milk supply for Eleanora. But I think I’m good to work out now. All this babbling and information to tell you: I worked out. and I loved it! I had forgotten how AMAZING I feel after I exercise, push myself, and get my body moving! (I would even go as far to say that, {click here})

4. I had a natural childbirth with Eleanora. I don’t think I’ve said that on my blog. Yep! After throwing up everyday and being too sick to get off the couch the last month somehow I managed to labor with a posterior baby and push a little angel out of my body. It was the best experience of my life and I can’t wait to do it again. The recovery and pregnancy I could do without… but the labor and delivery were amazing. That’s about as far as I’m going to delve into the details on her “birth story” I know it’s popular to share them on blogs, and I love reading them and I’m so glad people do, but I feel like it was a really personal experience for me and for Eleanora. But yeah, I had my first baby natural.

hahahahahahahahahahah

5. My sister Alicia posted the songs on her playlist.. I'll do the same. Here's the playlist i'm currently listening to:

How by Regina Spektor
Hey Cowboy by Alyssa Bonagura
Feels Like home by Josh Groban
Higher Window by Josh to the Groban
I make My Own Sunshine by Alyssa Bonagura
Hidden away by Josh Groban, again (woops!)
Mi Sol by Jesse & Joy
First Dance by Never Shout Never
Safe & Sound by Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars
Somebody that I used to know by Walk Off the Earth
New Soul by Yael Naim
You Lie by The Band Perry
Uncharted by Sara Bareilles
Love Somebody by Schuyler Fisk
(dude, Leesha, we have good taste in music! i was surprised how many were the same)

….I’m having a hard time thinking of ELEVEN random things about myself…
6. oh! I got a bike! I have not ridden a bike since before I was 12, I think. I love it though! It helps me get to class quicker which means less stress & more time with my baby girl & green tie guy. Double bonus, yo! It’s pretty fun and terrifying! Levi always laughs at me because I’m a total pansy on it (did you know you can actually ride off the curb and you won’t fall over? and if it’s windy your bike won’t {usually} tip over?)…. I say I’m just cautious….
7. I haven’t colored my hair in six months. Levi dared me to go a year without touching my color. I said okay. I told him as long as I’m not in any weddings or major photos I could do it. So, I got a really natural ombre style color and I’ve held strong for the first half of the year… I’ve gone six months before but never longer than that. Since I was 13 years old, no joke. So, it’s fun and nice on the pocket book :]
8. People are surprised to find out I’m an introvert. My sister, Alicia talked about the personality book “Please Understand Me” and she totally got me hooked to. I love to analyze everyone else and find out more and more about people [and myself]… I’m an INFJ/INFP incase you care to know/even know what that means… if you’ve taken it what are you? and your dog? are your cousin that I don’t even know?
wooohoooO!!!!!! I made it to EIGHT!!! haha I can’t think of anymore stuff about myself.

Now to answer the questions asked of me, golly!

1. What is your most embarrassing moment?
Probably when my senior year of high school. My dance team was at the National Ballroom Dance Competition and we were in the Marriott Center at BYU. My partner and I were waiting in line to compete in the Swing. It was syllabus, which in case you don’t know means that everyone was dressed the same: black bottoms and white tops. My partner, Troy, and I got out there and I was all ready to Swing away. I was bopping my hip, my hair was in HIGH pony-tails (very fitting of the swing, right?) when the music started….. uh…. it was foxtrot music? I was so confused. So, my partner stared at me as I gritted through my teeth “foxtrotfoxtrotfoxtrot” while still trying to keep a smile…. we gracefully danced off the floor and couldn’t stop laughing for quite sometime after it. Wow, it doesn’t sound nearly as embarrassing as it was. 2. Have you ever hit/slapped anyone? (expand on that would ya?)haha, that’s a funny question to ask because it’s actually on my bucket list. Not to slap just anyone, but a jerk. I haven’t done it yet – but I’ve gotten close. One time I turned around to punch/slap a guy at a concert I was at who was getting a little “too close” for comfort but by the time I turned around he was already gone.3. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?I don’t know… I think I mostly love being with everyone… I love the Bethlehem-themed dinner my mom does every year.  4. If you had to eat the same thing (and only that thing) for one whole week what would it be?Chobani Greek Yogurt, maybe? Or Ritz with melted cheese on it. or toast and butter. Boring I know…5. Who do you call when you get lost and need directions?Depends on where I am…. tomtom?6. Would you rather have long eyelashes or full lips?Full lips. You can always get lash extensions without having surgery… but you can’t get full lips without it {believe me I’ve tried everyone}.7. If you could have lunch with anyone tomorrow who would it be? (dead, alive, real, fiction, anyone)What If I said my entire family {extended and immediate}? that counts as “one person,” right?8. What is your comfort food? Any reason why its that food?Buttered Toast. I don’t know why it is, but it always makes me feel better. I don’t have many taste buds (legitimately… I have less than 1/3 the normal amount) and toast and butter are an AWESOME texture. 9. If you were stranded somewhere for 72 hours without any provisions would you rather have someone incredibly funny or incredibly smart with you?I’d rather have Levi with me – he’s incredibly funny and insanely smart… so BOOOYAH!!!10. What cheers you up when you are feeling down?I wish I had a less “emo” answer for this.. but usually just time. I’m not one to dwell on negative emotions but when I’m feeling blue I just need an hour or so and I’m over it completely. Dancing helps to accelerate this process. 11. What is the craziest thing you have ever done?Had a baby. Remember how I’m a grown up now? When did that decide to happen?!

uh, this took way too long. if you want to do this consider yourself tagged. and just take the 11 questions I answered. Go forth and reveal about yourselves!

Good stuff, Dara. It was fun reading and yes, I'm surprised to hear you're an introvert. Me, too! I'll have to check out the book you read.

Hugs!

So fun to read! Can't wait to check out some of those songs (the ones that weren't already the same, HA!)

Love you, and as always, I love that picture of you shooting that gun with the shell coming out. Totally awesome!
